Cargill United Methodist is a big-tent church, welcoming you with the wide embrace of God’s grace. We seek Jesus as the unifying, not dividing, bedrock of our faith. True to our roots and attuned to today’s world, we believe in both personal faith and caring for our community.
Cargill UMC welcomes all of God’s children, created in God’s image as people of sacred worth. We will continue to build a church that affirms the full participation of all ages, nations, races, cultures, gender identities, sexual orientations, abilities, or any other differences, real or perceived. The church building is ADA accessible.

Loving care for little ones, engaging classes for kids Free child-care through age 5 on Sundays
Sunday school through 6th grade from 9:45-10:20am Sundays (families may worship together at either service before or after)
We connect with God and each other in weekly worship, as well as through First Friends (for those new to Cargill UMC), age-specific ministries, small groups for all ages, and informal opportunities for fellowship. Cargill is expanding its presence in the community at the summer Farmer’s Market and public events such as book clubs, cookie decorating and craft groups.
Whether it’s through a small group, Bible or book study, or the Looking Up health & wellness ministry, Cargill is committed to spiritual growth and learning. Faith Foundations addresses a new topic each month, and we offer a Confirmation of Faith curriculum for all ages.
Cargill maintains a long tradition of helping others. We serve a monthly community meal (Bountiful Blessings), host seasonal events to help those in need, and partner with community organizations such as ECHO, GIFTS shelter, and CROP Walk to End Hunger. As a United Methodist congregation, we’re connected to relief efforts around the globe through the United Methodist Committee on Relief (UMCOR).
